Elayne Molbreak was inspired early in life to appreciate color in the rugged beauty of the Black Hills of South Dakota where she was raised.
Although she never had any formal training in art, she knew from an early age she wanted to paint. Her artistic side found its expression in balance, color and scale while creating for the interior design business she founded in Ohio.
She has since moved to Florida and received formal training from renowned local artists including Anne Abgott, Jack Nolan, Kathy James and many others.
She has been commissioned to do several paintings and has sold numerous paintings on display in local businesses.
"I think I love painting portraits the most, and yes portraits of animals too" "About landscapes, I do them from my head often, but sometimes I paint from my photos" "One
of the best ways to see my artwork is truly a new virtual experience at
my gallery in Secondlife. Most of my paintings are visible there in a deeply immersive tour." " I have done many personal commissions and a few commercial commissions. Most recently a cover for a phone directory" |
