The Parent Club usually meets the first Thursday of each month, with a few exceptions due to holidays (for specific dates, choose the calendar at left) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Administration Building Conference Room. EHS Principal, Mr. Rich Watkins, attends the first half-hour of each meeting to discuss and answer parents' questions. All parents and staff are welcome to attend. The Parent Club awards scholarships to graduating seniors based on scholastic merit, community involvement and financial need. We were proud to award nine (7) scholarships for the 2010-2011school year. Our sole scholarship fund raising is accomplished by operating the Cougar Snack Bar in the Gymnasium foyer. The Cougar Snack Bar is operated with parent volunteers who work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at 1:45-3:15 p.m. Please email us if you can help with inventory shopping or working the snack bar. Other opportunities for parents to support EHS include: distribution of school registration packets in July, donations and help with the annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon held in May, and support to staff and administration as needed. To join, simply download the membership application, print it out, and follow the directions on the application to become a member. The cost of joining the Parent Club for one year is $15. For an additional $5 ($20 total cost), you can also receive the Parent Club Guidebook with your membership.
