Welcom to Habin's personal home page. I'm living at Ipswich town in the UK. I was born in Korea where I stayed at for 33 years until I finished my Ph D at KAIST. After that, I decided to have an adventure to enrich my career in the UK with my family. Since then, I've been an active researcher in information systems discipline at BT, Adastral Park, Ipswich and now Brunel University's Brunel Business School in London. My hobby is watching films and playing golf. I am a regular member of Fynn-Valley and Hintlesham Golf club. My favourite film director is Wong Kar-Wai and I watched one of his films, entitled "Ashes of Time", 5 times!! My favourite singer is Kim Kwang Seok who died in 1996 when he was just 32 years old.

What I am doing
Habin is a Professor in Analytics and Operations Management at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. He received PhD in Management Information Systems, ME in Management Science from KAIST, and BA in Business Administration from Korea Aerospace University. He had previously served on the facluties of Paichai University in Korea and gained industrial experience from BT Group CTO before he joined Brunel. He secured more than 3 million Euros of research grants to Brunel University. The excellence of his research was awarded by international institutes such as WfMC (Workflow Management Coalition) and IET (The Institutes of Engineering and Technology) as well as BT Group. His innovative research on business process management, supply chain management, and technology innovation process resulted in more than 50 publications on international journals including Management Science, European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research part E, Annals of OR, Computers and Operations Research, IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, IEEE Pervasive Computing, among others. His research papers have been cited by some prestigious journal papers such as The Academy of Management Journal, Management Science, Information Systems Research, and so on.
Travel
As I'm living in England, it is wise to explore any other countries in Europ before I move to other continents. I've been in a few countries so far including Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Finland, Italy and Turkey.
