What happens at an appointment?

Initially we will discuss your current knowledge of EFT, and then explore what you want to achieve from your session. Once we have some clarity on that and what may be involved in fully resolving the issue for you, we begin using EFT.
We begin by settling down any anxiety you may be feeling having commited yourself to adressing this issue. Everything proceed based on your level of comfort and we never have to go faster than you are ready for.
We then begin researching your internal responses to the issue and neutralising any intensity and attachments which block you from being at peace. Sometimes this is achieved in a few minutes; at other times it may take several sessions.
You may be given some "homework"to do between sessions - things to notice or some tapping to do on your own.

What you can expect to experience:

  • Respectful listening - i will listen carefully to what you have to say and help you clarify your expereinces and what you want to achieve
  • Surprising questions - one of my skills is in uncovering unconscious patterns in events and experiences; perhaps there is a hidden reason or meaning behind your issue?
  • Careful management of your experience - I always aim to help you resolve your issue with a minimumof pain and distress. Sometimes strong emotions can come up and you can expect me to guide you safely through that experience until you are comfortable again
  • Fun and a enlightened new perspective on your issue - while we may be dealing with deeply important matters often humor is a way to quickly change your perspective and brings rapid relief. Getting over it doesn't have to be painful!
