Travelled to Spain and France in the Spring of 1999.  Picked this card up for the Coco Bongo Café @ 53, Promenade de la Plage, Marseille.  Rowdy port city, certainly.  Bars à cocktails pour soirées frappées!

 

In the fall of 1992, I volunteered to work for the Clinton-Gore campaign in Philly. Mostly making phone calls to registered Democrats to get out the vote and helping people get to the polls. And we won!  "BILL CLINTON For President. Make It Happen!  1992"

In 1992, I was living in Philadelphia  while a graduate student at Temple University. Briefly met Al Gore at a Borders signing -- right after the Rio Summit (Eco '92) and just before he was picked by Bill Clinton for the VP slot. 

I saw Gore again with Lynn Yeakel, who ran in the fall against Arlen Specter.  Preamble at the rally -- Stevie Wonder's "Living for the City" (slightly edited).  Bill Clinton came to City Hall, just up the street.
