Morakot typhoon brought 2,770 ml (more than 9 foot, Taiwanese average height is 5.5 foot) rain in on August 8 and induced mudslide, more than 100 people have been killed and villages wiped out. Taiwan because of its location suffers numerous typhoon attacks and earthquake every year, but damage and death caused by Morakot were the largest in 50 years. Taiwanese need your help and your compassion to encourage them. Your donation is highly appreciated. EFCP will send you receipt and Tax ID# after receive your donation We will collect money and send them to Taiwan Mission center under EFCGA. EFCP will first send $5000 emergency fund to TMC next week. As our number increased, we rented various facilities for worship and meeting. We were finally blessed with our present church building in 1992. In 1998, we began to use Mandarin as the main language for all our church programs in order to reach out to the diversified Chinese community in Phoenix. Presently, our church members come from Taiwan, Mainland China, as well as various parts of Southeast Asia. Currently, we are also developing an English-speaking ministry to cater to the needs of our second-generation young adults and children. We cordially invite you to join us for worship and fellowship. We hope that you will find warm friendships, as well as love, support and encouragement within our church family.
