Testing workshop of the first version of the e-learning course took place on 1-2 October 2009. It was organized by the Spanish partner, CECE and hosted by the STUCOM school in Barcelona. All project partners are putting together their knowledge, experience and expertise in order to design and pilot a new modern course which would combine the modern methodology, the e-learning form and the traditional topic – European Integration. The aim is to offer the teachers an opportunity to improve their knowledge on the European Union and at the same time respond to the teachers’ need of flexibility. The target group of the e-learning course in European integration are secondary school teachers, adult trainers and vocational trainers. The course was designed so as to give the background knowledge to the teachers and trainers working in various fields, teaching various subjects. It is not assumed that they will start teaching on EU. However, the hope is that they will be able to apply the knowledge on the EU in their work – for example including the relevant information in their teaching, There were 25 participants - teachers taking part in the testing workshop. They read through the course chapters and commented on the contents, structure, design and other features of the course. Based on their comments, EIPA as a workpackage leader elaborated the guidelines for the revision of the course texts.
