Current Analyzer

This is a prototype specification for a low-cost ($50/seat) mixed-signal analyzer.  I came up with this design because of the difficulty of tracking down current leaks in consumer devices.  Now that devices have such long standby times, the standby current drain is relatively small--often less than 1mA.  This means that even a few uA of drain becomes relatively significant.  Finding the sources of these small current drains can be problematic.  A mixed-signal analyzer can help correlate current spikes with logic transitiions, I2C messages, and so forth.  Here is a link to the draft prototype specification:
