Lodge 2-130 Board meetings are usually held on the 1st Wednesday (at 7:00 PM) of each month on the lower level of the Edmonds Masonic Center. There are NO Board meetings in June, July, or August.

Twenty-five years-worth of Edmonds Lodge presidents...every one that our lodge has had...attended the 25th anniversary bash.....

And many charter members of Edmonds Lodge were also on hand for the gala affair.

PRESIDENT’S JANUARY 2012 MESSAGE

The Friday December 9th Christmas dinner was a lot of fun and Penny Curtis sure had a way of getting the children up on their feet and dancing. Terri Baird had a very nice variety of holiday craft items for everyone to create. Glenn Werner provided some challenging games for young folks. We want to thank Glenn, Penny and Terri for making the evening a lot of fun.

Duane Esperum who is on the 17th of May Committee had presented the Edmonds Sons of Norway Lodge with the first Place trophy for Thor's winning participation in the 17th of May parade 2011 in Ballard. I want to thank everyone who helped with Thor in the parade, without them we would not have won the trophy or had a lot of fun.

I am looking forward to this new year. As we look back at the year of 2011 we can see how active our lodge had been. Starting the year of 2011 off with our Installation along with the officers of Cascade and Leif Erikson Lodges at the Leif Erikson Lodge in January, attending an International Night at Maplewood Elementary School in Edmonds, the sports and cultural competition with the Bothell Lodge in March where we won the Cultural trophy but Bothell Lodge won the sports trophy, a Sons of Norway display in the front lobby of the Edmonds Library downtown, 17th of May parade in Ballard, Border Festival at Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA., Picnic at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore participating with the Midsommarfest , 4th of July Parade downtown Edmonds, Silent Auction in November and many other activities between these events have made this last year very interesting. I should not leave out all of the interesting speakers who were invited to give programs for our lodge during the year.

With this said this coming year will be another active year with a lot of interesting activities during the year and should not be missed. We would like to have as many members join the fun with us.

In January we have our installation of Board members along with Folkvoice playing music. But before we have our installation we are having a bowl of hot Yellow Pea Soup with ham plus dessert for dinner.
