Ric earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama after serving a tour of duty in the USAF.
The Lead Characters from Ric Leonard’s Golf Cartoon Strip, “HOOKENSLICER”, were featured in the monthly television Program, “This is the PGA TOUR”.Show # 4 aired during the month of May, 1997, on the Fox Sports International Network.
Ric’s Political Cartoons, covering President Bill Clinton’s last term and President G.W.Bush’s first term, were widely distributed on several Internet News Sites and in several Town Journals, Gazettes, and NewsPapers. Ric prepares his cartoons in Pen and Ink, and also uses The Wacom Graphics Tablet.
