Ingredients • 2 large potatoes • 1 tablespoon oil • Pinch of asafetida (Hing) • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric • 1 finely chopped green chili (adjust to taste) • salt • 1 teaspoon lemon juice • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (corriander) Method: 1. Boil the potatoes until they are soft and let cool. 2. Peel and cube the potatoes in approx 1/2 " or 1 cm cubes. 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium high. 4. Add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds and asafetida. 5. Stir-fry for a few minutes. 6. Add lemon juice and cilantro. Serve hot. |
