Customized Wedding Ceremonies in The San Francisco Bay Area And Beyond
I'm Rev. Edgar Welty, and have been an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ since 2000. I am theologically open-minded and respectful of a wide range of beliefs. I've been the pastor in churches in New York and California and hold a four-year Master of Divinity degree from San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS). SFTS, (Presbyterian Church {USA}), is one of the oldest seminaries on the West Coast. My coursework at SFTS included Pastoral and Marriage Counseling. I have performed traditional and less structured ceremonies, in various settings, for many couples. For couples who want premarital counseling, I am certified as a counselor in the Prepare/Enrich ® Program.
The header picture above is of my own wedding years ago. As I look back I remember my engagment as a time of joy as well as transition that enables me to really understand what couples go through. I offer personalized services to make your commitment to each other meaningful. My range goes from weddings sized to include only the couple and witnesses, to gatherings of many friends and numerous members of several generations of the bride and groom’s families. Settings vary from sanctuaries, secular indoor and outdoor settings.

Basic Package
Ceremony and Rehearsal $550.00
Ceremony only $450.00

*To confirm your wedding date, I require a $150 deposit at the time of booking and balance on or before the day of the wedding.
