The old sites are built using a free tool called Google Sites.  It is a wonderful tool for simple web sites but does not allow the flexibility of the Word Press software used on the new site.  The limitations simply got too frustrating.  The new site allows you to follow the activity on the site through your email account or Google and other news readers.  It also has a controlled method of allowing others to contribute through comments or as authors.  We are looking for contributors who would like to write occasional articles.  Anyone interested in that probably know where to find me.

The transition will take several months.
