The Next Generation Electric Fishing Device
East Anglian Electrical Services have developed the next generation electric fishing device, applying an ecological approach to electric fishing. After prototype testing by the Environment Agency Ecological Appraisal teams the control unit has been approved for use by EA staff also received a CE mark certificate.
The fishing machine has been specifically designed to meet the Best Practice Guidance for Fish Capture by Electric Fishing to achieve the optimum combinations for efficient fish capture and fish welfare under the range of environmental conditions encountered by fisheries staff.
