Foodie triumphs and betrayals from eChef's CEO
I don't know how many times I've shamefully told my best
friend over morning email "Yeah... we just ended up ordering a pizza last
night." It's okay. Everyone does it. Even the foodies. And even the
world's greatest proponent of recipe software (me).
This behavior is pretty appalling for a
person whose life dream is to standardize an electronic recipe file
format so that we can all easily search, sort and share our recipe
collections... i.e. so that we can more easily MAKE DINNER.
Thankfully, I do manage to get it together pretty often. And, thanks
to eChef, I can triumphantly track down the exact recipe that I'm
looking for in about 2 seconds. Sweet.
The latest triumph for eChef users (besides the eChef software itself, of course) is the advent of Google Sites. Finally, we have an easy and free way to share our eChef recipe files with others on a cool, customized website. I hope you all enjoy my Recipe Box and that you'll stop by often to read my blog. But more than anything, I hope that you'll build your own fabulous site from which you can express your foodie betrayals and triumphs and, of course, share your eChef recipe collection with the world. It's the next generation of food blogging, now improved by the offering of practical and beloved eChef file downloads!
If you are wondering if this is totally cool, it is.
