ECC 2011 Finished on 14th May 2011, The ECC Cup was won by Boat 39 Skippered by Kay Heinrichs who is now the new Commodore for ECC 2012. The full results are published here 1.3 Race Results The winning Boat 39 team are Anke, Ralf, Simon, Kay, Christine and Christiane:  Once Again we would like to thank those that contributed to making ECC2011 a success, especially our sponsors, Sasha, Inci, Alen and Mustafa. The hospitality we received at all the ports was fantastic so thanks to Mihalis, Salih, Louis, Okan and the town Mayors for their help preparing for the ECC visit. We look forward to hearing news from Kay on arrangements for ECC 2012. ECC 2011 ECC2011 was held in the warm blue waters of Marmaris in Turkey between 7th and 14th May 2011. We have some exciting plans in place including a visit to the beautiful Greek island of Simi. There are now 61 yachts entered as of November 2010. Once again we have selected Sasha of Adriatic Holidays to be the organiser of ECC in 2011 working in partnership with Alison and Constanza of Sunsail, so we can all look forward to a first class event. Incila Ozmert of Sailvation is our lead organiser in Turkey working with the people at each of the ports evening venues. We get regular updates from Inci as the events in Turkey develop. I am sure all skippers will remember their great race and fleet organisation from previous events. I would like to say a special thankyou to Klaus Huetten ( ECC 2010 Commodore) for the great handover and John HallHall ( ECC Admiral) for the ongoing support during the organisation of ECC 2011. This event must be exactly what everyone will need after a long cold dark winter at home.
