This is book about a girl named Bella Swan who moves to Forks,Washington with her father Charlie after her mother Renee re-marries. Her mother would be traveling a lot so she decided to stay to with her father for a little while. The first day of school she makes friends, but quickly falls in love with a gorgeous boy named Edward Cullen. But he has a secret , he's a vampire. She soon finds out, but unlike the ones you see in movies he doesn't have fangs, when he goes out in the sun he sparkles like a thousand diamonds. He's incredibly fast and strong, he has pale-skin and he is ice cold. The two are quickly attached and fall in love and she meets his family. Rosalie and Alice are his sisters, Japer and Emmet are his brothers and Carlisle and Esme are his parents. They're all vampires but they're vegetarians which means they drink animal blood instead of human. She soon begins to feel like family but when they go to play baseball one day Laurent, James and Victoria find them and James realizes Bella is not a vampire because her blood is so sweet. Now Edward has to save the love of his life from James who is going to try to suck her blood and kill her.
