I’m currently a NSF postdoctoral fellow associated with the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and the University of Papua New Guinea. My research interests involve how species communicate with each other, primarily in mixed-species bird flocks, and how information flow affects animal communities. I’m also very interested in teaching, and education projects that disseminate knowledge about animals and their conservation, and promote exchange between scientists in different countries, particularly southern Asia, Melenasia and the United States.
