Welcome to Emmanuel Baptist Church. We are grateful
that you are visiting with us, and want to extend both a warm welcome and an invite to you to learn more about what God is doing at our wonderful church. It is the presence of the Lord that we celebrate each time we gather together. We invite you to celebrate your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ with us.
The members of Emmanuel Baptist Church would like to invite you to join us for worship service each Sunday morning. Our church is located at 1916 Overlook Avenue in Jefferson City. If you are unable to be with us in person, we'll come to you by way of radio. Each Sunday, our morning worship service is broadcast live on WJFC 1480 AM beginning at 11:00AM. You can also listen to our sermons via this website.
We look forward to these regular opportunities to gather together and worship the Lord Jesus Christ with you. As Pastor, I want to extend a personal invitation for you to be part of our worship service and vibrant church community. Let us lift our voices together in thanksgiving and praise for our redeemer.
Grace and peace,
Dr. Sonny Strange, Pastor

MOVIE NIGHT: THE NATIVITY STORY
DECEMBER 6, 2009
In Nazareth, Mary, a teenage girl, is told by her parents that they have arranged for her to marry Joseph. Distraught by the idea of marrying a man she barely knows, Mary takes refuge in a grove. There she is visited by an angel, who tells her that she has been chosen by God to bear his son. Despite the public scorn from an unwed pregnancy, Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem for a census. It is here, with a great celestial event revealing His prophecy in a history defining event, that Jesus is born.
Come and enjoy The Nativity Story, and outstanding film chronicling this incredible event. The film will be shown in the sanctuary beginning at 5:30:PM. Admission is FREE, but donations are accepted.
