Every patient is entitled to a FREE consultation which will typically last about 30 minutes. During this time the practitioner will undertake diagnosis using Traditional Chinese Medicine methods. If patients are on other treatments prescribed elsewhere, they should be able to bring the details of any drugs currently being administered, and be able to discuss their current and past healthcare situation authoritatively.

After the diagnosis is complete the practitioner will discuss with the patient whether Traditional Chinese Medicine can help their condition, and give an indication of the costs that would be likely for their treatment.

The patient is free to not proceed with any treatment without any obligation after an initial consultation. Indeed there may be some conditions where the practitionner will not recommend treatment, depending upon the circumstances of the patient.

Practice Hours

The practice operates on an appointment-only basis, at a mutually convenient time for both the practitioner and the patient. Practice hours are flexible, and daytime, evening and weekend appointments are available. Short notice and out of hours appointments may be possible, and the practice telephone number 01923 888 488 can usually be called from 8am to 9pm 7 days a week; please leave a voicemail message if we are unable to answer your initial phone call.

Consultations and Treatments are typically at our premises located above the Parade Pharmacy on the Main Parade in Chorleywood. The premise is on the 2nd floor and is accessible by stairs only. If you are unable to manage stairs, please discuss this with the practitionner when making your appointment, as home visits can be arranged.
