A Typical Day at the preschool: Welcome Circle—to begin and discuss choices for the day.
Choice Time—A large variety of child-directed opportunities such as prepare-your-own-snack, dramatic play, clay and other sensory activities, paints and other art materials, science exploration, block and large motor play, “Imagination Station”, and our Eastgate Preschool Mailbox.
Group Times—Music time is full of various types of music and rhythms, instruments & movement props. Children are then grouped by age where specific learning concepts are facilitated with books and other hands on learning materials.
Outside Play—Children end the day in our wonderful fenced wooded play area, equipped with bikes, swings, climbers, a real boat & a large sandbox. |
