K2 Volleyball Tournament

Tournament Format:

· Matches will be the best two of three sets. The first two sets are played to 25 points, and the deciding set, if necessary, is played to 15 points. No cap.

· Warm-up time will be 2-4-4 for all matches. 2 minutes of shared warm-up time. 4 teams for serving team to utilize the entire court followed by 4 minutes for the receiving team to utilize the entire court.

· In order to keep the matches on schedule, captains meetings will occur immediately following the match prior and the warm-up will begin at this time.

· Every team is guaranteed 5 matches.

· Liberos are allowed to serve

· The first match in the morning wave on Saturday  will be at 8am. The first match in the afternoon wave on Saturday be at 3pm. All matches after the starting match will proceed immediately following the conclusion of the match prior. The matches on Sunday are based on each team's finish on Saturday.

· You do not need to bring balls; we will provide balls for your warm-up.

Venue/Parking:

· All matches will be played at the K2 facility located at 2639 Topside Road, Louisville, TN. 37777. For directions please see the directions page.

· Parking is free. However parking is limited. Please car pool whenever possible. There is a paved lot in front of the building as well as a gravel lot located between the Dominos parking lot and the K2 lot. Please be courteous and do not box anybody in.

· Please do not park in the entry drive.

· Do not park at Dominos, they will tow.

Food:

· We do have an upper mezzanine and food tables can be set up here. There is no food allowed in the lobby area.

· We also have a limited concessions area which supplies water, Gatorade, light snacks, etc.

Refereeing:

· On Saturday, work teams are posted along with the pool play schedules.

· On Sunday, work teams are based typically based on the match prior to; usually this results in the losing team refereeing, however in some cases it is the winning team that must provide a work team.

· We will supply all “Up Officials.”
