Satellite Imagery
Satellite imagery consists of photographs of Earth or other planets made from artificial satellites.

 

Satellite images have many applications in agriculture, geology, forestry, biodiversity conservation, regional planning, education, intelligence and warfare. Images can be in visible colours and in other spectra. There are also elevation maps, usually made by radar imaging. Interpretation and analysis of satellite imagery is conducted using software packages like ERDAS_Imagine or ENVI.
 

Follow the following instruction to install your free Google Earth into your computer in few minutes time:

1. Download Firefox
We recommend Firefox as your internet web browser. Firefox is free and is considered the best free, secure and fast internet web browser available today.

Follow the instruction to download the installation file. Click on the Agree and Install button.  Below screen will appear. Click on the Run button.

2. Install Google Earth Software

After installing Firefox, go to http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html to download the latest Google Earth software.

Save the file into your deskop.  Double click on the file once finished. Follow the instruction to complete the installation.

Once completed launch Google earth by clicking Google Earth icon on your desktop.

Type your address into the search box.
