The Moon reflects some of the sunlight falling upon it but a naked eye view of a full Moon through a clear night sky, with its bright and even illumination, is strong evidence that THE MOON IS POSSIBLY A SELF-ILLUMINATING BODY, except that solar eclipses and lunar eclipses support the reflected sunlight model. The Natural PHILOSOPHER (the old and better term for "Scientist") called Alhazan believed that the Moon is a self-illuminating body because each point on its surface broadcasts light rays in all directions.
