Statement: Thank you for the link to your very interesting site. While I respect your right to your personal beliefs, I disagree with the position you have espoused on your site.
There is, in fact, plenty of evidence to support Darwin's theory, and the theories of all respected cosmologists and other scientists regarding the movement of the objects within the universe. Where does gravity come from, if not rotation? Without getting into extended arguments over the scientific facts, the real issue here seems to be some belief on your part that there is ages-old secret conspiracy by thousands of scientists to "prop-up" the beliefs you find false. Give it some thought, how in the world would one get that many people to maintain that big a secret for that long a period of time...and most important, to what end...simply to support what you perceive as an alternative theory to creationism? Really, what do you believe they accomplish? I am not a scientist nor a theologian, but I consider myself a reasonably intelligent and thoughtful person. I believe in the mainstream scientific theories of evolution and the grand movements of the cosmos, and those beliefs interfere not one whit with my strongly held Christian convictions. Simple men, with a limited understanding of how the universe works wrote a story to explain how a magnificent God brought a universe into being...A universe they couldn't even begin to fathom. We are not capable of knowing and understanding the mind and talents of God. I fully believe in a creator, but my religious beliefs include a God big enough to create this complex and magnificent universe in ways beyond my comprehension, and over a period of time that is chosen by God...not rendered by man. The God I know does not require so small and weak a person as myself to try to defend how he may or may not have created the Universe. A God capable of such wonder does not need me to make excuses for what un-educated men two thousand years ago wrote to explain their limited understanding of his creation. God calls on me to worship the grand complexity of an infinite Universe he created. At its core, your theory is beyond arrogant because you assume the entire infinite universe was created just for we small little humans on this small little planet. If so, why did God bother with other stars and other planets? They add nothing of benefit to our world. We need only the earth and the Sun. I believe we are an important part of God's creation, but his creation wasn't made of us, but for him, and it includes vast and miraculous things that have been created (and are being created) over the eternal time that is God's time. John Response: "This is a reply from a sincere, though seemingly willingly blind man, that touches on many things. The point he makes about a scientific "conspiracy" is one that I have only fairly recently understood the correct answer to. Namely, money. With money, those who create the stuff determine where and how it gets spent. By controlling governments they control the research agencies. By controlling all the main scientific journals and the research agencies, they control the universities as regards what research is conducted, what gets published and what conclusions are acceptable. In short, the thousands of scientists alluded to by your correspondent are not engaged in a "conspiracy theory" at all, they simply tow the line, draw their salary and further their careers and reputations within their bit of a paradigm that is determined by the ones pulling the financial strings. All of these scientists can be completely unaware of the corruption and Devil-inspired agenda being orchestrated way above their heads. They will see the moral destruction of society going on all around them, but very, very few will stop to think out just what is going on." Neville Jones
