celebrating... peace, people, planet
Our mission is to promote peace by joining participants worldwide in a synchronized PRAYER FOR PEACE and to support humanitarian causes through the global language of music and dance. Our goal is to unite people worldwide in one day dedicated to the promotion of peace and diversity and environmental causes. GEARING UP FOR Earthdance 2011!!This year's Earthdance Global Festival for Peace will be held September 24, 2011! In Red Deer we will gather in City Hall Park in the afternoon, share a community drum circle, join in the global non-denominational Prayer for Peace at 5:00 pm, and continue to celebrate with music and dancing in the evening. Stay tuned for details as they unfold. In alignment with the United Nations theme for 2011 - Preserving the Forests - this year, we will focus our intentions on our forests and how we can preserve them for generations to come. Earthdance
