Welcome to Ealing Transition Book Club!

Ealing Transition Initiative has its very own Book Club, formed by members from across Ealing's community. We meet monthly to discuss, debate and understand issues raised in the books we decide to explore.

Our usual procedure is for two or three volunteers to summarize the chapters we are reading and start the discussion at the meeting. Often these summaries are typed up and circulated beforehand - where this happens we will make them available on this site.

Currently we are reading: A Wiser Politics: Psyche, Polis, Cosmos" by Jean Hardy. 222 pages and likely cost £11.69. Published 2011.

The next meeting will take place on:
  • Sunday June 10th, 7.30pm.

We are a friendly bunch and always welcome new members, so if you are interested in finding out more or want to come along to our next meeting, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. If you are interested in starting an additional transition book club in your part of Ealing borough, we would be pleased to help.

Email: ealtransbookgroup@gmail.com if you would like to join or for further information.

Previous books we've read:

  • Rob Hopkins: The Transition Handbook
