All participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements to and from Taipei, Taiwan. Due to the limited budget, we strongly recommend you to take the Taiwan Bus Corp. (Kuokuang Line 國光號) bus from Taiwan Taoyuan Airport to the Taipei Railway Station 台北火車站 (the last stop) in Taipei city and take a taxi from there to the hotel. It would cost you 125 NTD (about 4 USD) for the bus, and about 150 NTD (about 5 USD) for the taxi. Please keep the receipts for reimbursement. (You may have to ask for a receipt from the taxi driver.) However, if you arrive late night or very early in the morning (00:00~06:00), you can take a taxi with a meter from the airport directly to the hotel. It would cost you around 800 NTD (about 23.5 USD). Please also get the receipt and keep it with you for reimbursement.

The bus ticket counters are located in the Arrival Passenger Reception Areas of both Terminals. Terminal I Bus Platform is on the southwest side of the Arrival Passenger Reception Area. Terminal II Bus Platform is on the northeast side of the Arrival Passenger Reception. You can see the signs in the airport.

After arriving Taipei, if you have some free time to look around, the MRT system takes you to almost everywhere in Taipei. The MRT station near Taipei Garden Hotel is MRT Xiaonanmen Station (小南門捷運站). For more details please check the website of the MRT.

When you need to go to the airport for departure, you can take a taxi from the hotel to Taiwan Bus Corp.(Kuokuang Line) East station to take the bus to the airport. There are two stops. One is Terminal I and the other is Terminal II. Again, if you leave late night or very early in the morning (00:00~06:00), you might want to take a taxi with a meter from the airport directly to the hotel.
