The guest speaker for the February 7th meeting is Larry Coleman. Last year Larry suffered a catastrophic engine failure in a CTLS Sport Aircraft, flew the airplane to a field and walked away. His story is one that we hope none of us will ever have to tell, complete with pictures! Please help us welcome Larry and share in his remarkable story.

March’s meeting will feature guest speaker Joe Murray, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) at Kent State University. In spring 2012, two Piper J3 Cubs will piloted by Joe and Ron Siwik will set out on a journey to the place where aviation began. It will be the first flight to Wright Brothers Airport via all of Ohio's 88 counties and will honor the 75th anniversary of the airplane that taught nearly a half-million pilots to fly.
