The 2012 International Learn to Fly Day was a huge success!  We cannot thank all our Sponsors, Vendors, and especially Volunteers enough for all you did.  Our passion for everything aviation shone through in all of you.  In the upcoming weeks we will be adding content and Links from our event to this page for all to see.  Please check back often.

International Learn to Fly Day kicked off with Media Day at the Cleveland Wing of the Commemerative Air Force with a welcome home to Vietnam Veterans Celebration.  EAA Chapter 1252 wishes to thank Jan Sroka and Becky Laraquenta for their incredible presentation from Jan's time spent in Vietnam and the benefits of the VA for all veterans.  It was a moving day and very heartfelt. 

EAA Chapter 1252 in conjunction with Two Ponds Studios worked with our friends at the Columbia Station VFW to produce "The Unwanted Soldier".  A short documentary film aimed at righting a wrong from the way Americans welcomed home their Vietnam Veterans over 38 years ago.  You can watch the short film below.
