This is me, Miguel-Angel García Martín. I was born in Salamanca, Spain. I have been living a few years in Helsinki, Finland, but since July 2008 I am reallocated to Madrid, Spain.

I am currently working for Ericsson in real-time communication and packet core activities. I am interested in VoIP, SIP, standardization, IMS, P2P, Policy Control, Access Network Selection, and other similar technologies. I have been involved or I am currently involved in standardization activities in IETF, 3GPP, OMA, and ETSI TISPAN. In IETF, I am co-charing the MMUSIC Working Group. During the first years of the 2000 decade, I was participating in the design of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) in 3GPP.

The third edition of the 3G IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) was released on September 2008.
