This summer, students will focus on increasing their Spanish speaking, writing and reading skills so that they can effectively build relationships with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

Youth Camp Counselors

Youth Camp Counselors are incoming 11th and 12th grade students who assist in the Junior Spanish Immersion Camp. Counselors are Spanish-speakers who serve as role models for the younger students. Camp Counselors will increase their leadership and cross-cultural communication skills. High School students interested in this internship should contact E3 for an application by May 1st.

Cost of Internship: $50

Incoming 6th to 8th graders Youth Spanish Immersion Camp 

The summer camp will take place in the Canal community of San Rafael. In this vibrant Latino community, students will be exposed to the lively customs of learning to cook traditional dishes and will participate in a Spanish-speaking soccer camp.

Academically, students will learn basic Spanish skills and demonstrate their acquired language skills through a short movie in Spanish. 

Students will go home with their own self-directed DVD movie, increased Spanish fluency and fun memories!

*Lunch is included in this camp
