Blogs are online spaces where people post information and their thoughts or opinions on a specific topic. Blogs are visible to everyone online. Here is a video definition of blogs (it will play right after the short ad) and a written definition of blogs.
Our individual blogs will be more formal than sending instant messages, so you will need to remember to check your spelling and the content to make sure your writing says what you want it to say and is appropriate for school/classroom reading. As you create your blog account, you will need to print out your blog information and give it to Ms. Mlinar-Stephens or Mr. Godvik. We will use these blogs throughout the semester to post what we have learned and what we think about our learning in tech class.

- Go to Blog Assignment #1 to create your first post! Erase the default "Welcome" post and write in your post.
DWMS Tech Blog using Edublog
Remember not to post personal information about yourself or others on a blog (last name, address, phone numbers, emails, etc). As always, remember to follow the Waukegan Public School District Technology Acceptable Use Policy when using technology and the Internet at school.
Blogspot Using Google
DWMS Tech Blog - This is another example of a blog using Blogspot/Blogger through Google accounts. If you have a Gmail account and would like to use your Google account to create your blog instead, please see the teacher for approval.
