A spreadsheet is a grid that organizes data. The data is arranged in rows and columns in a grid.  The user can direct the program, in the form of formulas, to perform calculations with the data.

use a spreadsheet to: organize data; use charts to display data in a graph; choose the appropriate graph to show information accurately
