Part 1- SketchUp Video 1 - watch online
- Tutorial - on your desktop. Your teacher will explain this in class. Work alone or with a partner to get used to paint and orbit tools. There are a number of tutorials you will need to complete. Make sure to go through each one carefully, because they will help you with future SketchUp models! You may print out the following parts (make sure to put your name on each):
- kitchen
- the two small houses (cabins)

- SketchUp Video 4 - The Chair
- Open SketchUp and create your own chair! Save it as p3yourname_chair. Don't worry if it isn't perfect - it is your first one - just try!
Part 2- SketchUp House - See teacher for assignment.
- Exporting your house as a 2D image and uploading the file to your blog. The only difference in these directions is that you are going to save your 2D image to documents instead of Dropbox in the directions. (from techbrarian.com) Write about your design on your blog using Blog Assignment #2.
- Animate your house Also explained very well in this video and again a different way in this video. *
- Export Animation to QuickTime (Full Quality) *
- Import the QuickTime animation to iMovie and record a voice-over explaining how you created your house, what you put in it, what you like about it, and what you would change if you were to do it again. *
