Reflect on your learning once per week using one of the following:

          ·      Create a learning wiki or blog and log your reflections.  You can create this using WikiSpaces, Google Sites other protected online resources approved by the teacher (individual).  Provide the teacher with the link and access to your site.

          ·      Create a vodcast reflection using PhotoBooth and a microphone once per week. (Done in the style of the Jake Sully character in Avatar.) After you record your video, drag it from PhotoBooth into your folder.(individual or partner)

Use these questions as you reflect (choose at least 3)

          ·      Where are you with your project?

          ·      What did you learn?

          ·      How do you know you learned it?

          ·      What helped your learning?

          ·      How do/did you feel about your learning?

          ·      What challenges are you having or what got in the way of your learning?

          ·      What are you planning to do about those challenges?

Remember to bring your survey of the PBIS prizes!

          Project Directions:
          1. Use the model to help you create the spreadsheet that will organize and explain your data.
          2. Create a new spreadsheet and call it yourname_pbis_survey.xls and save it in your folder in documents.
          3. Remember to save your work as you go - Command-s
          4. Merge cells A1, B1, C1, D1, and E1
          5. In those merged cells, type in PBIS Store Prize Survey. Make the title bold and change the font size to 14.
          6. Merge cells B2, C2, and D2.  Type the word Frequency in those merged cells and center it in the cell. Format the word Frequency so that it is bold. You can adjust the height of that row 2 so that it isn't so close to row 1 if you like.
          7. Merge cells E2 and E3 and type the word Total in that merged cell and make it bold as well.
          8. Type the words below and make them bold also:
            • In cell A3 type the words Prize Choices
            • In cell B3 type the words 6th Grade
            • In cell C3 type the words 7th Grade
            • in cell D3 type the words 8th Grade
          9. In cells A4, A5, A6, A7, and A8 type the names of the prizes you surveyed others about
          10. Type in the formula for adding the responses from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades that you got in cell E4 =SUM(B4:D4)
          11. Copy that formula all the way down the E column to the E8 cell
          12. In E9 click the AutoSum symbol to add all of the responses for all of the prizes and all of the grades.
          13. Create graphs to show the data gathered in a visual manner for:
            • the prize choices by grade level by using a column chart
            • the prize choices as voted on by percentage using a pie chart
          14.  If you finish early, you should start on answering tomorrow's questions. (See below.)
