Animation

Students will be able to: Animate a science, social studies, math, or communications concept using stop-motion animation.

Checklist of tasks:
  1. Decide on a topic
  2. Create a storyboard and get it approved
  3. Create a background
  4. Decide which objects will be used to demonstrate concept
  5. Assemble objects and shoot stop-motion animation
  6. Import to iMovie and edit
  7. Add titles, sound effects, music, ending credits
  8. Export to QuickTime
  9. Complete online self-reflection for animation and the end of the semester/quarter

Waukegan man, Edward Hill Amet (1860-1948) , invented the first practical 35mm motion picture projector.
