Day 1 - 5/8/08 - Thursday
New Tasks
- The Group has chosen the design but we are continuing to try and think up new ideas for our robot.
- Jacob has begun building the robot and Shannon is assisting him while she continues the sketches of our possible robot designs.
- Shannon began work on the animations for the project.
- Matt has begun the documentation for the group and made the website in which the group's work will be posted. Matt will continue to work on the website for the course of this project.
New Ideas
- Possible design ideas: A design with tank treads that would have the camera and flashlight attached to the top of the robot. A design that is built high off the ground for maximum ground clearance, but it has the normal Lego NXT wheels.
Old Tasks

Completed Tasks
- Matt finished creating the website for the group and set up the individual websites in which the groups information will be posted on.
Day 2 - 5/9/08 - Friday
Note: Shannon and Matt were absent this day for AP testing.
New Tasks
- Finish the project management charts for the group.
- Start the Proposal.
New Ideas
- We are continuing to decide on various ideas for our robot. We have chosen to build a robot with high ground clearance that uses the large wheels from the old Lego kits. We are now brainstorming ways for attaching the camera and flashlight to our robot.Old Tasks

Day 3 - 5/12/08 - Monday
New Tasks
- Finish the Design Proposal
New Ideas
- Today we came up with various ideas for our design proposal. We decided that we would use a Lego software to add pictures of our robot to our design proposal.Old Tasks

- Shannon continued the animations for our robot.
- Matt continued documentation for the group.
- Matt continued to update the website.
- Matt began working on the Design Proposal.

- Shannon finished the hand sketches of our possible designs.

Day 4 - 5/13/08 - Tuesday

- Finish the website
New Ideas
- Decided to add another set of wheels to the rear axle to reduce the robot from "bowing" towards its center. This will also add more stability to the robot.Old Tasks
- Shannon and Matt continued building the robot.
- Matt continued documentation for the group and continued work on the proposal.
- Shannon continued work on the animations for our proposal/website.

Day 5 - 5/14/08 - Wednesday

- Begin work on the presentation for Friday.
- Begin testing the robot.
New Ideas
- Decided to add another set of wheels to the front axle. This will further increase the robot's stability to ensure that it will not flip over on various parts of the course.Old Tasks
