Volunteers
Since 1985, the DLC has trained more than 1,200 volunteer tutors who have, in turn, helped empower more than 12,000 Durham residents! Each year, more than 100 volunteers donate their time and energy as tutors, board members, and other important volunteer roles. We could not begin to achieve our mission without the dedication of these generous volunteers.
