Announcements & Updates

November 25-27 (Wed-Fri):  We will be closed for Thanksgiving Break.  Enjoy!
December 1, 2, & 7:  The Adult Literacy program will host New Student Orientations on December 1 (Tue) from 6pm to 8pm; December 2 (Wed) from 10am to 12pm; and December 7 (Mon) from 6pm to 8pm. Prospective students should attend one of these sessions.  For more information or to sign up for a session, please call 323-0902. 
December 17:  Join us for our annual potluck Winter Celebration at Lakewood (2100 Chapel Hill Road).  Bring a dish to share, family, and friends. 
December 18-January 3:  Winter Break!  The DLC classroom sites will be closed December 18 through January 3 for Winter Break.  (Adult Literacy pairs who plan to meet during that time should meet at area libraries.) 
January 25, 27, & 30:  Adult Literacy and ESOL Tutor Training will be provided during the last week of January on Monday (6-9pm), Wednesday (6-9pm), and Saturday (10am-4pm).  All three days are required for new tutors. (New tutor orientations will be held prior to the training. Check back for orientation dates.)  For more information, email us or call 323-0902.
