 Darko Nikcevic (Niksic 1971) is a flamenco guitarist and composer. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica and took his MSc at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade (Audio and video technology department). He works at the Music Academy in Cetinje as the head of the Electroacoustic laboratory and as the professor of Music Technology. He has participated in numerous concerts in Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Netherlands, Italy, United Kingdom and Spain. He is the author of the first album of instrumental music in Montenegro - “Flamenco” (1994) published by the Music Production of Radio-Television of Montenegro and co-author (with guitarist Srdjan Bulatovic) of the CDs “Duo” (2001), “Nostalgia” (2005), and “Touch of Montenegro” (2011). He recorded an album with his compositions in Slovenia (2003) with the flamenco group Duende. He is author of the books “A School of Guitar” (2000), “Power of Guitar” (2004), “Guitarra Romantica” (2008) and “Audio technology” (2011) and co-author (with Srdjan Bulatovic) of the two editions of the book “Guitar for Beginners” (2006 & 2011). He participated in a large number of music programmes, concerts and spots of many radio and TV stations in Montenegro, Serbia (Studio B), Croatia (HRT), Slovenia (TV Slovenia and TV3) and Spain (Radio Nacional de España). He is a member of the Association of Composers of Montenegro.
Biografija Darko Nikčević (Nikšić 1971.) je flamenko gitarist i kompozitor. Završio je Elektrotehnicki fakultet u Podgorici, a master diplomu (MSc) je stekao na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu u Beogradu (odsek Audio i video tehnologije). Radi na Muzičkoj akademiji na Cetinju kao rukovodilac elektro-akustičke laboratorije i predavač na predmetu Muzička tehnologija. Učesnik je brojnih koncerata u Crnoj Gori, Srbiji, BiH, Hrvatskoj, Sloveniji, Grčkoj, Holandiji, Italiji, Velikoj Britaniji i Španijii. Autor je prvog albuma instrumentalne muzike u Crnoj Gori “Flamenco” (1994.) u izdanju Muzičke produkcije Radio Televizije Crne Gore i koautor, sa klasičnim gitaristom Srđanom Bulatovićem, CD-a “DUO“ (2001.), “Nostalgija“ (2005.) i “Dodir Crne Gore” (2011.). U Sloveniji je sa flamenko grupom Duende snimio istoimeni album sa svojim kompozicijama (2003.). Autor je knjiga “Škola gitare” (2000.), “Moć gitare” (2004.), “Guitarra romantica” (2008.) i “Audio-tehnologija” (2011) i koautor, sa Srđanom Bulatovićem, dva izdanja udžbenika “Gitara za početnike” (2006. i 2011.). Učestvovao je na velikom broju muzičkih emisija, koncerata i spotova mnogih radio i TV stanica u Crnoj Gori, Srbiji (Studio B), Hrvatskoj (HRT), Sloveniji (TV Slovenije i TV3) i Španiji (RNE - Radio Nacional de España). graduated from the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade
in the class of professor Srdjan Tosic and then completed a specialist study
programme of guitar at the Art Academy in Novi
Sad. He took
his MA and DA at the Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade,
in the class of professor Vera Ogrizovic. He is the first guitarist to hold BA, MA and DA in guitar in Montenegro.
In addition to performing as a soloist, he formed the guitar duo with flamenco
guitarist Darko Nikcevic in 1991. In addition to classical music, through this
duo he has got acquainted with other music genres, such as flamenco, film
music, world music and jazz. He has performed both as a soloist and in
different chamber orchestras in the country and abroad (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia,
Greece, the Netherlands, Italy,
Hungary, France, Germany,
Egypt, United Kingdom).
He is the co-author
(with Darko Nikcevic)
of the two editions book “Guitar for Beginners”
(2006 & 2011). He has recorded music shows, concerts, spots etc. for different radio
and television stations. He published solo CDs "Guitar" in
1998, which was also the first CD of classical music ever recorded and
published in Montenegro, and "Live in Belgrade" (2010), as well as the CDs “Duo” (2001), “Nostalgia” (2005), and “Touch of Montenegro” (2011) together with Darko Nikcevic. He is one of the founders and
lecturers of the "Bar guitar fest"
and artistic director of the "GitarArt Summer Festival" in Herceg Novi.
He is the founder of the guitar department in the Secondary Music
School in Podgorica where
he is a teacher. He also teaches at the Music Academy
in Cetinje. He has held several master courses in the country and abroad. Biografija Srđan Bulatović (Podgorica 1972.) počeo je svirati gitaru sa osam godina u klasi nastavnika Miodraga Ćupića, kod koga završava nižu muzičku školu, i koji ga usmjerava na profesionalno bavljenje gitarom. Diplomirao je na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi prof. Srđana Tošića, potom završava specijalističke studije gitare na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu, a zatim magistrira i doktorira na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu, u klasi prof. Vere Ogrizović. Prvi je diplomirani gitarista i magistar gitare u Crnoj Gori. Pored aktivnog bavljenja koncertnom djelatnošću kao solista, zajedno sa flamenko gitaristom Darkom Nikčevićem osniva duo gitara 1991. godine. Preko ovog dueta upoznaće muziku i drugih žanrova kao sto su flamenco, filmska, etno i džez muzika, koji ce u korelaciji sa klasičnom imati snažan uticaj na njegovo dalje bavljenje muzikom. Nezaobilazan je i pedagoški rad zasnovan na empirijskim principima koji ce kroz godine rada sa generacijama različitih uzrasta uticati na njegov dalji razvoj. Nastupao je kao solista i u raznim kamernim sastavima u zemlji i inostranstvu (Srbija, Hrvatska, Slovenija, BiH, Grčka, Italija, Mađarska, Francuska, Njemačka, Holandija, Egipat, Velika Britanija). Autor je knjige “Zbirka kompozicija i etida” za klasičnu gitaru (2003.), te koautor, sa Darkom Nikčevićem, dva izdanja udžbenika “Gitara za početnike” (2006. i 2011.). Snimao je muzičke emisije, koncerte, spotove i sl. za radio i televiziju (RTV CG, RTS, HRT, TV SLO, TV Nil – Egipat, MTV – Madarska, Radio Kopar...). Kao solista, objavio je CD-e "Gitara", koji je ujedno i prvi CD klasicne muzike snimljen i izdat u Crnoj Gori (1998.), i "Live in Belgrade" (2010.). U koautorstvu sa Darkom Nikčevićem izdao je CD-e "Duo" (2001.), "Nostalgija" (2005.) i “Dodir Crne Gore” (2011.). Jedan je od osnivača i predavača na "Bar guitar festu", i umjetnički direktor "GitarArt Summer Festivala" u Herceg Novom. Osnivač je odsjeka gitare u Srednjoj muzičkoj školi u Podgorici gdje radi kao profesor, kao i na Muzičkoj akademiji na Cetinju. Održao je više majstorskih kurseva u zemlji i inostranstvu. |
