DUNEDIN CURLING CLUB Inc.

The Dunedin Curling Club meets at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. Both the ancient and modern styles are promoted by the club. Our endeavour is to preserve the past and promote the future.
Traditional curling ('crampet' curing) style and rules are adhered to at their Monday night meetings. On Tuesday evenings the modern ('hack') competition is held.
In the traditional outdoor game the stone is delivered from a crampet (a metal plate placed upon the ice) while the modern game allows for the delivery in a sliding motion from a 'hack' (similar to athletic starting blocks) fixed to the ice.
Anyone at all interested in the game is welcome to call and see the styles practiced on a Monday or Tuesday evening from 6-30 pm.
For further information yuo are welcome to contact our club secretary Trevor Lewis by email
