The Friends of Dubuque Lutheran School is open to parents of DLS students and
anyone interested in supporting the school. Meetings are held once a month at 6:00 pm in the Solarium at school. Dates are announced in advance of the meetings.

Friends assist with many school activities including National Lutheran Schools Week
events, Open Houses throughout the year, and Pastor Recognition, Board Recognition,
and Volunteer Appreciation lunches. They plan social activities like roller skating
parties and a beginning of the school year picnic each fall. Friends are instrumental in planning and carrying out their own fundraisers and provide valuable assistance with the fall Arts and Crafts Fair and the spring Silent Auction as well. Finally, they pray for families and the work of the school, and help to make the school a welcoming place
for everyone involved.
