Client feedback - 'I slept through the night which was a first in two years. Once I showered I felt like a new person in a new body. Knee is slightly easier and neck more mobile, I'm standing more erect and that is all good. Hip pain is eased. In summary I can see hope again. Thank you'

Nuad Bo-Rarn - Traditional Thai Massage

Thai Massage is a fully clothed massage received on a futon mattress, this allows for efficient use of the practitioners body weight and the ability to perform many movements which would not be possible on a raised table.

The minimum massage session is one hour, this allows for a complete, unhurried and relaxing full body work out. The work itself consists primarily of acupressure along the energy lines (Sen lines), and a large variety of relaxing muscle movements.

Pressure can be applied by the thumb or palm in smaller areas or for larger muscle groups, elbows, heels and even knees.

Sufficient but never unnecessary pressure is applied and it varies from client to client.

Thai 'Sen' energy follows the same principle as Chi in Chinese medicine, but rather than flowing along the Meridians the lines themselves are the same as Yoga Nadis. The working of acupressure points along the Sen lines releases blockages encouraging the free flow of energy to all the limbs. Only when energy is free to flow throughout the body will the body work optimally, both physically and mentally.

For this reason Thai massage is an excellent complimentary body work  to Yoga. It continues the work of the yoga practitioner through passive stretches and deep muscular palpation not feasible on your own.
