I'm a Wellington based Project Manager, specialising in GIS, consulting and training. I've recently returned from a few years in Iraq and Afghanistan, managing development programmes for USAID. I'm writing a book based on experience and lessons learnt over the past few years which has a project site: www.pm4gis.org
I'm now back in New Zealand managing GIS projects for the NZ Esri GIS distributor, Eagle Technology Group Ltd. This is me on LinkedIn. To the left you'll find links to some of my photos, videos, presentations, language links, and other info you are welcome to help yourself to. Here is me on Twitter, photoblog Twitpic and I've recently started a connected blog on Tumblr My Goals for 2011 are coming along nicely. I've grown and harvested a massive tomato crop, made homemade sauce from them, and passed my Prince2 foundation Exam. I also passed the PMP exam after thinking about it for about 5 years. For the rest of 2011 its finish off Prince2 Practioner, and the PMDev exam. I've also completed 2 pm4dev courses which were very helpful with the PMI study. The most popular page here at the moment are the Project Management Files, GIS Lectures, and Language pages, particularly the Afghan Dari phrasebook. I've been trying to learn other languages for years with marginal success, and these are some great resources. Recently found some great stuff on Dari and Pashto which I listen to in the car every so often.
Help yourself to the of files, documents, presentations, and other interesting stuff I have made or collected over the past few years, I hope you find something useful. Any opinions made or implied, are mine and not of those of my employer. Kindest regards, Project Manager with Interests in International Development, based in Wellington, New Zealand. |
