Bio

I was born in Vietnam in 1978 where I received my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanoi University of Technology in 2001. In 2003, I moved to Taiwan to pursue my Master's in Mechatronics at Da-Yeh University.

Currently, I am studying towards my PhD in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. My research advisors are Dr. Chris Clark and Dr. Jan Huissoon. My current research involves developing a new technology that allows the exchange of information and collaboration between vehicles to improve road safety and increase traffic throughput.

In my spare time, I like hanging around with my family - my wife Jen and my son, Andrew, born on Jan 25, 2007.
