Dr. Crawford is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at Southern Connecticut State University. She is head of the Cancer Biology Research Laboratory in the Biology Department that focuses on experimental cancer therapeutics. Her research studies have been presented at numerous international conferences and have been published in peer reviewed journals. She is also the author of two published comprehensive marketing reports on clinical and preclinical cancer therapeutics. ^{She is the recipient of numerous CSU research grants as well as a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection.}

^{Her past and present professional associations include membership in the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR),the the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Association, American Medical Writer's Association, Society for Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).}
