Dr. Key is an award winning international speaker, an expert in self-esteem development, adolescent suicide and vulnerable populations. As a published researcher, professor and scholar she has served as an subject matter expert delivering electrifying speeches at conferences, workshops and panel discussions. Dr. Key is known for her ability to provide action-oriented steps and research based strategies to transform and transcend her audience. Dr. Key has inspired faculty, students and human services professionals through her ability to engage them in meaningful dialogue. She has transcended non-profits and community leaders to engage in culturally competent practices in their service delivery to at-risk youth and other vulnerable populations. Internationally, Dr. Key has used her expertise to inform, engage and motivate students, universities and community leaders to become change agents. Dr. Key is a visionary in her field and believes her purpose is to support effective teaching, advance culturally competent service delivery and advocate for the empowerment of vulnerable populations.
