 Dr. Nixon Library was awarded a generous grant from Price's Creameries. A Crazy Crafts Celebration was held on December 3, 2009, in conjunction with the annual Book of the Month night. Students and their families tried their hand at fourteen crafting stations. Jingle bell necklaces, origami, kirigami, holiday boards, and craft ebooks were only a few of the festivities enjoyed by attendees. Thanks to the Dr. Nixon PTA for providing refreshments. Also, many thanks to Price's Creameries for making this event possible.
