Parent volunteers are welcome to join the Dr. Nixon Library Volunteer Team and are vital in the support of our library program. Please email Miss Atwood at evatwood@episd.org or stop by the library if you are interested. Hours are flexible. A VIPS application must be on file in the school office.

Students, parents and community members contributed to our library by shelving an amazing 50,000+ books during the 2010-2011 school year. A big thank you to all our volunteers.
Fourth and fifth grade students are eligible to volunteer in the library. Students must write an essay about why they want to be a library volunteer and include the qualities they possess that would make them a good volunteer. If accepted, a parental permission slip must be returned to Miss Atwood. |
